Egon Schiele
Schiele and the Intensity of Viennese Expressionism
Egon Schiele (1890-1918) is one of the central figures of Viennese Expressionism. A student and protégé of Gustav Klimt, who introduced him to collectors and the Vienna Secession, he soon developed a personal style defined by broken lines, contorted bodies, and unnatural colors, with an erotic and psychological charge that scandalized the public of his time. He focused primarily on the human figure, as in Male Nude, exploring themes of sexuality, fragility, and death with an intensity unprecedented in Austrian art of the period. He died at the age of twenty-eight in Vienna, struck down by the Spanish flu epidemic, three days after his pregnant wife Edith. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that exploration, not filling an empty space.
Crafted to Last
Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We do not chase an immediate effect: we seek a finish that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work meant to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

A Work of Art, Not Just Decoration
A print does more than simply fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, and a story that continues to speak to those who look at it. The works by Egon Schiele preserved by Miriaci remain faithful to this principle — pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetic appeal.
Aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
