Surrealism
Surrealism: the dream beyond reality
Surrealism emerged in Paris in 1924 around André Breton's manifesto, as an attempt to free the imagination from the control of reason, exploring dreams, the unconscious, and unexpected associations between images. The movement took different forms throughout Europe: in Great Britain, Paul Nash was one of its leading figures, bringing a visionary unease to the English landscape that had already matured during his career as an official war artist in both world wars. In his work Waves, the natural landscape takes on a dreamlike and symbolic tension typical of his Surrealist output of the 1930s, when he was among the founders of the Unit One group, created to promote British avant-garde art. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that pursuit, not filling an empty space.
Crafted to last
Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We do not pursue an immediate effect: we seek a result that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work intended to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

A work of art, not just decoration
A print does more than fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, and a story that continues to speak to those who view it. The Surrealist works held by Miriaci remain faithful to this principle — pieces chosen for their meaning before their aesthetics.
Aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
