Henri Matisse, color and line
Henri Matisse (1869-1954) led the Fauves at the 1905 Salon d'Automne and was, alongside Picasso, a central figure in 20th-century painting. After a serious operation in 1941, he called the years that followed a “second life”: no longer able to stand at an easel for long, he drew with a brush and scissors, cutting directly into color. From those years came the plates for Jazz, the Acrobatic Dancers, and the portraits of Nadia and Katia—works made with very little that still bring his joy into a room today. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that artistic pursuit, not just filling an empty space.
Crafted to last
Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We don't chase an immediate effect: we seek a result that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work meant to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

A work of art, not just decoration
A print doesn't just fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, a story that continues to speak to those who see it. The works by Henri Matisse offered by Miriaci remain true to this principle—pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetics.
Aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
