Paul Nash

Paul Nash: from the war landscape to the surrealist dream

Paul Nash (1889-1946) was one of the leading figures in the transition of English art toward Modernism, serving as an official war artist in both the First and Second World Wars with works such as We Are Making a New World and Totes Meer. During the 1930s, his work turned toward Surrealism, with dreamlike landscapes filled with symbolic elements, of which Waves is a fully realized example. Founder of the Unit One group in 1933, he is considered one of the major British landscape artists of the 20th century. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that artistic exploration, not filling an empty space.

Crafted to last

Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We are not chasing an immediate effect: we seek a result that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work intended to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

Why choose Miriaci

Choosing Miriaci means relying on work made with care, from printing to delivery.

  • Careful shipping: every piece travels protected, ready to be hung.
  • Archival materials: 300 g/m² fine art paper and frames chosen to last over time.
  • Real support: our team remains available to help you choose the artwork best suited to your space.

An artwork, not just a decoration

A print does more than simply fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, a story that continues to speak to those who look at it. The works by Paul Nash preserved by Miriaci remain faithful to this principle - pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetics.

Aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
