Sem, the Belle Époque in caricature
Sem, the pseudonym of Georges Goursat (1863-1934), was the most celebrated caricaturist of the Belle Époque. Arriving in Paris in 1900, he portrayed high society at Maxim's, the Opéra and the racecourses with a restrained, precise style, and after the war he continued to depict Paris in the Roaring Twenties, from tango to the rituals of elegance. Bringing one of his prints into your home means preserving the wit and lightness of that world.
Crafted to last
Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then hand-finished and framed in Italy. We don't chase instant impact: we aim for a finish that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work intended to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

A work of art, not just decoration
A print doesn't just fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, a story that continues to speak to those who look at it. The works by Sem preserved by Miriaci remain true to this principle — pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetics.
L'aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
