Robert Delaunay
Robert Delaunay: pure color moving toward abstraction
Robert Delaunay (1885-1941) was one of the founders of Orphism, a movement that developed Cubism toward abstraction through the simultaneous contrast of pure colors. Together with his wife Sonia, he developed a theory of color in which light and form coincide, applied to subjects such as the Eiffel Tower and views of Paris, as well as to the world of entertainment, as shown by the Set Design for the Cleopatra Object. His compositions influenced Kandinsky, Klee, Marc, and Macke, making him a key figure in the transition of European art toward early twentieth-century abstraction. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that exploration, not filling an empty space.
Crafted to last
Every Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We do not chase an immediate effect: we seek a result that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work meant to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

An artwork, not just a decoration
A print does not simply fill a wall: it brings with it a theme, an era, and a story that continues to speak to those who look at it. The works by Robert Delaunay curated by Miriaci remain faithful to this principle — pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetic appeal.
Aesthetics fade. Meaning remains.
