Thomas Baxter: Neoclassical grace on English porcelain
Thomas Baxter (1782-1821) was among the finest painters active on Worcester porcelain during the first decades of the nineteenth century, working for the Flight and Barr manufactory and, from 1816, the Cambrian Pottery in Swansea, where he specialized in allegorical figures and classical subjects. Author and illustrator of the 1810 volume An Illustration of the Egyptian, Grecian, and Roman Costume, he gave form to an interest in ancient iconography clearly visible in a plate such as Egyptian Female Figure, an expression of the neoclassical taste for the Mediterranean world. Bringing one of these prints into your home means preserving that pursuit, not filling an empty space.
Crafted to last
Each Framed Art Print is made with fine art paper, then finished and framed by hand in Italy. We do not chase an immediate effect: we seek a result that remains faithful to the original colors over time, because a work intended to be passed down deserves a foundation as solid as the story it tells.

A work of art, not just decoration
A print does more than fill a wall: it carries a theme, an era, and a story that continues to speak to those who view it. The works by Thomas Baxter held by Miriaci remain faithful to this principle — pieces chosen for their meaning, even before their aesthetic appeal.
